Based a system-oriented concept, we run a family pension in the South of France.

The informal and family-related setting is the starting point of our project. We welcome each guest for the duration of his or her holidays in our family.

Our prevailing goal consists in offering to people with a mental handicap the possibility of spending their holidays abroad and to experience them with a maximum of individual fulfilment.

Supporting and increasing integration are in the centre of our idea.

This is why we offer holidays for people with mental disabilities who need to be taken care of up to a certain degree and why, in same time, we rent rooms to individual tourists, who would like to discover our region during their holidays.

The encounter of different people with their individual characteristics originates unique contacts and special experiences. Prejudices may be reduced, and the community of people with their individual differentiation may result in important impulses for each of them.

Personal freedom is an important commandment.

Every day, we offer a variety of activities. However, our guests decide themselves whether they would like to take part in them or not. They decide freely at what time they want to go to sleep and when they will get up. We take care only where and when it is absolutely indispensable.

If necessary, we support our guests in taking their medications or with their physical care. We assist them to get along with money, the foreign currency and language. But we will not restrict anybody in his or her personal freedom unless it is necessary, and we will not prevent our guests from individual experiences unless this would be threatening or damaging somebody’s health or psyche.

Our guests let us know whether we are in the right way.
