Why not descend the Ardèche river in a river boat piloted by two boatmen?

The traditional wooden boats, the so-called "barques", have a flat base and can transport 4 to 6 persons. Originally, they have been used for transportation mainly between about 1920 and 1940. Thus, such a boat trip could be a particular experience with a nostalgic touch.

Daily departures between Easter and early November at 8:30 o'clock opposite the tourist office of Ruoms. You will be brought back by taxi (costs included) at about 18:00 o'clock.

Prices amount to approximately 2.000 FF per boat (prices from summer 2000).
