Festivals 

Particularly during the summer months, in numerous villages and towns of the Ardèche festivals and events are organised, that rather often have a cultural, historic or scenic background. Here, we can just present a small selection of the regularly recurring events. Every year, in addition, there is a wider range of unique events of all kinds.

Summer courses for children and teenagers 

Every summer, special courses are organised for children and teenagers (from 4 to 17 years), among them programs like:

  • Discover the delights of life on a farm
  • Learn to recognise birds, plants and rocks
  • Take part in an "Indiana Jones" mini-raid adventure
  • Learn about fly fishing

Sporting spectacles 

Last not least, a small choice of the great Ardèche sporting spectacles, that are organised annually:

  • the Hot Air Balloon Festival at Annonay (June)
  • the rock climbing spectacle "Joueurs de Blocs" (June)
  • the "Ardéchoise", the world's biggest amateur cycling course (June)
  • the triathlon of Coucouron
  • the international canoe-kayak competition "Ardèche Gorges Marathon" (November)
  • the car race "Ardèche Rally" and
  • the "Crossing the Plateau by Mountain Bike" spectacle.
